We started by stamping the Christmas tree patterned stamp in Mint Macaron along the side of a Mint Macaron card base. I used my Stamp-A-Ma-Jig to line it up.
Next, I inked the large solid present stamp in Mint Macaron and then "kissed" it on the diagonal patterned stamp and then stamped it onto a Whisper White scrap. I added the bow on the package, also in Mint Macaron, and then stamped the "joy" sentiment in the new Basic Black Archival Ink. I punched this out with the 1-3/4" Circle Punch.
We made a, um, let's call it a "design element," as a focal point on the card, by taking a 4"x1" strip of Vellum Card Stock and layering it with a length of the new 1/8" Garden Green Striped Ribbon and a strip of Silver Glimmer Paper. These two elements were stapled onto the vellum with Stampin' Up's hand-held stapler. We then tied a length of Whisper White Baker's Twine and attached it to the element with a glue dot. The whole "design element" is attached to the card with Snail Adhesive, cleverly hidden behind the Silver Glimmer Paper.
Finally, I adhered the stamped circle element on top of the "design element" with Stampin' Dimensionals.
We stamped a Whisper White envelope with the Christmas tree patterned stamp in Mint Macaron and added the "joy" sentiment in Basic Black Archival ink.
I love this clean and simple design--with the added "design element"!
