From Our Family to Yours

#stampinup   #faithfulinkspirations   Today's card is another that we made at the Proverbial Stampers gathering. It's a super easy card--and super pretty, too!
We started by stamping a sentiment from the "Snowflake Greetings" stamp set in Versamark onto a 2-3/8" Whisper White Card Stock circle cut with one of the Stitched Shapes Framelits. We added some Gold Stampin' Emboss Powder and embossed this with our Heat Tool. We adhered this to one of the gorgeous Gold Foil Snowflakes from the Holiday Catalog.

We adhered a 2" by 4" strip of the checked Year of Cheer Specialty Designer Series Paper to a 4" by 5-1/4" Whisper White Panel. We tied a length of Gold 1/8" Ribbon around this element before adhering the panel to an Early Espresso Card Stock card base.

We finished this simple, but elegant, card by adhering the sentiment to the card with Stampin' Dimensionals. Super pretty, right?

Christmas Warmth

#stampinup   #faithfulinkspirations   I'm just gonna say right up front:  this card is gorgeous!! We made this at the Proverbial Stampers get together and I saw it shining from across the room. It's just stunning!
We started by stamping a sentiment from the "Snowflake Sentiments" stamp set in Versamark ink onto a Whisper White oval cut with one of the Layering Ovals Framelits. We added some Copper Stampin' Emboss Powder and embossed the sentiment. We adhered this to Copper Foil scalloped oval cut with another of the Layering Ovals Framelits.

Next, we adhered a 4" by 2" piece of the stunningly gorgeous Year of Cheer Specialty Designer Series Paper to a 4" by 5-1/4" Whisper White mat. We added a 1/4" by 4" strip of Champagne Foil at the top.

We stamped a couple small snowflakes from the "Snowflake Sentiments" set in Versamark and embossed them with Copper Stampin' Emboss Powder. We adhered this piece with Stampin' Dimensionals to a Thick Whisper White Card Stock card base and adhered the sentiment to the card with Dimensionals, too.

Gosh! This is one pretty card, don't you think?!

Santa's Coming!!

#stampinup   #faithfulinkspirations   Who doesn't love Will Ferrell's "Elf"? It's such a fun Christmas movie. It's so silly you can't help but laugh. Today's card reminds me of the elves in that movie and it uses another fabulous image from the "Festive Phrases" stamp set. (Psst! We'll be making this cutie-patootie card at one of my two remaining Christmas card stamp-a-stacks!)
I started by stamping the Elf image in Basic Black Archival Ink onto a 2-1/4" by 3-1/2" piece of Whisper White Card Stock. I used Old Olive, Real Red, Early Espresso, and So Saffron Stampin' Write Markers to color him in. I adhered him to a 2-1/2 by 3-3/4" piece of Basic Black Card Stock.

Next, I embossed a 4" by 5-1/4" piece of Old Olive Card Stock with the Polka Dot Basics Embossing Folder. I added a 4" x 1" strip of Merry Little Christmas Designer Series Paper and a length of Silver Metallic-Edge Ribbon before adhering it to a Real Red Card Stock card base.

I adhered the stamped elf to the card with Stampin' Dimensionals and added a few Basic Rhinestone elements for that bit of bling. I finished the card by tying on a length of Real Red Mini Tinsel Trim. That comes in two-pack with Silver Tinsel Trim. So fun--just like this card!!

Fall Still Life

#stampinup     #faithfulinkspirations   Have you ever paged through the Stampin' Up catalog and found a stamp set or embellishment that you'd missed the first dozen times you looked? I do that all the time. In the current catalog, I've practically overlooked all the cool background stamps we offer. I know they're there, but I just flip on by. And then I see a card where someone has used a background stamp and I take another look.

Today's card uses the Burlap Background Stamp that I've overlooked, oh, I can't tell you how many times! I think it's used to great effect in this card that we made at the Proverbial Stampers get together.
We started by stamping a 4" by 5-1/4" piece of Crumb Cake Card Stock using the Burlap Background Stamp and Crumb Cake Ink. I stamped this image off to the side a bit so that the fringed edges would show. We adhered this to an Early Espresso Card Stock card base.

Next, we stamped several images from the "Pick a Pumpkin" stamp set onto a 2-5/8" Very Vanilla square cut with one of the Stitched Shapes Framelits. We used Tangerine Tango, Early Espresso, and Old Olive Ink. We also stamped another Tangerine Tango pumpkin onto a Very Vanilla scrap and cut it out with the matching Patterned Pumpkins Thinlit Die. We adhered this element to the card with Stampin' Dimensionals.

We stamped a sentiment from the "Thoughtful Banners" set in Early Espresso onto an Old Olive strip and punched it out with the Modern Label Punch. We adhered this to the card with Mini Stampin' Dimensionals.

Finally, we tied a bow into a length of Linen Thread and adhered it to the card with a Glue Dot.

What a nice, fall-themed thank you note this turned out to be!!
