Christmas Choo-Choo

#stampinup   #faithfulinkspirations   Today's card is the last in a series of four cards using the "Christmas Magic" stamp set. If you've missed the other three cards, please check back to the previous posts. This card uses the very cool Christmas train image.

I stamped the train in Basic Gray Archival Ink. I used my Blender Pen to color in details with Smoky Slate, Real Red, Garden Green, and Crushed Curry. I cut the image out with one of the scalloped Layering Squares Framelits. I adhered this to a Crumb Cake Square, cut with the same framelit set.

I built the card up from a Crumb Cake card base, an Early Espresso Mat, and a Candy Cane Lane Designer Series Paper panel. I added the stamped image to the card using Stampin' Dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment in Basic Gray Archival Ink and then punched it out with the Duet Banner Punch. I backed this with another banner punched with the same punch from Crumb Cake card stock. I adhered the label to the card with Stampin' Dimensionals.

For the finishing touch, I tied a bow in the striped Candy Cane Lane Baker's Twine and added this to the card with a Glue Dot.

Magical Christmas Bells

#stampinup   #faithfulinkspirations   The bell image in the "Christmas Magic" stamp set reminds me of the bell in the "Polar Express" story. (This set also contains a train...so you do the math!) This card was really easy to make, and I think it's stunning in its simplicity.

I started by stamping the bells in Basic Black Archival Ink onto a Whisper White scrap. I colored the ribbons with a Cherry Cobbler Marker and then fussy cut the bells with my Paper Snips. I stamped the sentiment in Cherry Cobbler onto a 1" strip of Whisper White and flagged the end with the Banner Triple Punch.

I punched a 2" Circle of Early Espresso Card Stock and then ran it through the Big Shot with the Happy Heart Embossing Folder.

Here's how I built the card. I started with an Early Espresso card base, cut lengthwise. I added a panel of Candy Cane Lane Designer Series Paper. I adhered the Early Espresso circle and then I adhered the bells with Stampin' Dimensionals. The sentiment flag is adhered directly to the card using Snail Adhesive.

For a finishing touch, I made a bow of the striped Candy Cane Lane Baker's Twine and adhered it to the card with a Glue Dot.

Darling North Pole Greetings

#stampinup   #faithfulinkspirations   I think the North Pole image from the "Christmas Magic" stamp set is just darling! I stamped the image in Basic Black Archival Ink onto a Whisper White strip. I colored the pole using Soft Suede, Cherry Cobbler, and Garden Green Stampin' Write Markers. I'm so stoked that Stampin' Up is offering sets of two markers in the holiday catalog. I hope they keep that up--it's such a great idea! You can get Cherry Cobbler and Garden Green together (141972). Perfect for your Christmas cards! I added a sentiment also in Basic Black Archival Ink and then adhered this to a slightly larger Garden Green mat.

I added a strip of Cherry Cobbler card stock to a Warmth and Cheer Designer Series mat and then wrapped a length of Burlap Ribbon around before adhering it to a Crumb Cake card base. To complete the card, I added the stamped image using Stampin' Dimensionals. So quick and easy. And so darling!

Sweet Mr. Snowman

#stampinup   #faithfulinkspirations   This week, I'm going to share four cards that we made at the September Proverbial Stampers get together using the "Christmas Magic" stamp set. This set has a nostalgic feeling and the images are really sweet.

First up, we have Mr. Snowman. I stamped him in Basic Black Archival Ink onto a 2" square of Whisper White. I used Real Red, Garden Green, and Pumpkin Pie Stampin' Write Markers to color the details on this little guy. I laid down a line of Multi-Purpose Liquid Glue at the base of the snowman and sprinkled on some White Mica Flakes. Gorgeous!

Next, I embossed a Whisper White mat using the Softly Falling Embossing Folder. I added a strip of Gold Glimmer Paper and then a wider strip of  Warmth and Cheer Designer Series Paper. Then, I adhered everything to a Garden Green card base. I added the snowman element to the card using Stampin' Dimensionals. Isn't he just the sweetest?
