Sweet Goodie Bag

The new Occasions catalog has an AWESOME new Mini Treat Bag Thinlits set. This set has loads of cool thinlits along with the ones that make the treat bags. This is a great way to use up all the extra DSP you've got laying around! And they make the cutest treat bags. Who wouldn't love to get this bag as a thank you for attending your special event??!!

I used the Birthday Bash Designer Series Paper for the bag and for the large Starburst Medallion. I stamped the sentiment from the "Best Day Ever" stamp set and added the tiny heart in Calypso Coral from the same set. I tied a length of Calypso Coral Ribbon from the Best Year Ever Accessory Pack. So quick and easy and sweet!

Eat Cake, Or Take it Home in a Bag!

Our guest artist, Lynn Birus, created a sweet treat bag for our recent stamp camp, using some great products from the Occasions catalog.

The new Mini Treat Bag Thinlits collection is perfect for making goodie bags to give to party guests.  Lynn's bag is super cute! She cut a piece of Birthday Bash DSP with the Framelit and a piece of Bermuda Bay cardstock with the banner framelit that comes with this set--there are TONS of extra pieces in this collection!!

She stamped the frame and "eat cake" stamps from the One Tag Fits all set and colored them with Bermuda Bay, Daffodil Delight, and Pumpkin Pie Blendabilities. Lynn cut out the tag with scissors. (NOTE: The matching Note Tag punch cuts off a bit of the frame...just sayin'.)

Finally, Lynn added a length of Gold Sequin Trim and a length of Calypso Coral Pompom Trim clipped onto the bag with a mini metallic clothes pin. She had a box of tasty Little Debbie treats to add to the bag--yummy!!
