I have to say that I was a little bit surprised that the vellum has black images imprinted. For some reason, I thought the images would be white. That didn't stop me from getting out my set of Stampin' Write markers and coloring on the back side of the vellum. I originally intended to flip the vellum over so that the colored side would be facing the cardstock, but I liked the softness of the coloring on the wrong side of the vellum.
If you're a regular reader, or if you're one of my loyal customers, you'll know that I always say that I hate coloring. I do. Whenever I use the Stampin' Write markers, I can't get them to blend and I always see streaky lines. I. Do. Not. Like. That. Since our Blendabilities line is on a hiatus while Stampin' Up deals with some manufacturer quality issues, I thought I might try a Blender Pen with the Stampin' Write markers. I LOVED how that turned out!!!
Once I colored a bit of the vellum, I realized I could use the panel to play in this week's Paper Craft Crew sketch challenge.

I was already working with Melon Mambo and Basic Black and I had some strips of the "Back to Black" designer series paper lying around from another project. I thought I'd put all these colors and textures together to make a wild and crazy card.
I used the following Stampin' Write Colors: Wisteria Wonder, Rose Red, Strawberry Slush, Hello Honey, Daffodil Delight, Blushing Bride, Perfect Plum, and Elegant Eggplant.
