Seasonal Bells

#stampinup   #faithfulinkspirations   I received this card as part of a card swap at my Stampin' Up upline's new catalog gathering. Carole Warrenfeltzis the wonderful stamper who made this card! I love the Christmas colors!!

Carole embossed an Emerald Envy card base with the Pine Bough Embossing Folder. For the center of the card, she started with a Real Red mat. She added a piece Whisper White panel onto which she stamped the sentiment in Real Red. She then added a strip of the gorgeous Presents & Pinecones Designer Series Paper. For extra sparkle, she added a bow of Real Red Stitched Satin Ribbon. She adhered this assembly to the card.

Next, she stamped the bells from the "Seasonal Bells" stamp set in Emerald Envy onto Mint Macaron Card Stock and punched them out with the Bell Punch. She adhered these to the card. Then Carole used the Holly Berry Builder Punch to punch out the berries and leaves. She adhered these to the card and some Clear Wink of Stella to the Berries for a little sparkle.

This card is so adorable! I'm so pleased to have received this in the swap!

A Little Christmas Cheer

#stampinup   #faithfulinkspirations   Where did the week go? It's been a whole week since I posted anything. Yikes! I've been crazy busy here--my twins are seniors in high school and we're in the midst of college application frenzy. Plus I'm working on a super-secret project that I can't reveal for a few weeks--but I'm stoked about it!!

I held the second session of my annual Christmas card-making class on Saturday. These get togethers are so fun! My friends make a stack of Christmas cards in August, September, October, and November and have 48 cards made before Thanksgiving. If that sounds like fun and you want to do it next year, contact me and I can add you to my list. If you're not local to me, I'll offer a long-distance version!

I've already shared the first two of the cards we made at our October session here and here, so today I'll share the third card. It's super cute--and so quick and easy. You could make a stack of these in no time flat!

I started by adhering two 4" x 2.5" pieces of  Presents & Pinecones Designer Series Paper directly onto an Emerald Envy card base. I added a 4" x 1.5" strip of Real Red Card Stock.  Next, I tousled 32" of Gold Metallic Thread and adhered it to the Real Red strip. That thread is such a bargain at $3 for 50 yards!!!

I stamped a sentiment from the "Tin of Tags" set in Emerald Envy onto a Whisper White scrap and cut it out with one of the Layering Circles Framelits. I adhered this to a Real Red scalloped circle also cut with the Layering Circles. Then I adhered this to the card with Stampin' Dimensionals....and done! I really like how quick this card is to make and that it shows that you can use the "Tin of Tags" set for more than just the "Tin of Tags Kit." You could stamp the "Special Delivery" sentiment from this kit onto the envelope for the card, too. Wouldn't that be clever?

Hello, Ginger!

#stampinup   #faithfulinkspirations   This card is quick and fun! We also made this at the Proverbial Stampers Holiday Catalog gathering. We were really busy--we made 16 cards in all!!

For this card, we started with a strip of houses from the Candy Cane Lane Designer Series Paper, and adhered this to a slightly wider strip of Real Red Card Stock. We stamped the gingerbread man from the "Cookie Cutter Christmas" stamp set in Crumb Cake onto Whisper White and punched him out with the matching Cookie Cutter Builder Punch.

We stamped a sentiment from the "Cookie Cutter Christmas" set in Early Espresso on the top left corner of a Crumb Cake panel. Next, we adhered the gingerbread man to the card and then the strip of houses. (This giant gingerbread man reminds be of the Stay-Puft Marshmallow Man from "Ghost Busters.") Finally, we adhered everything onto a Real Red Card Stock card base. Simple--and so cute!!

Eskimo Kisses

#stampinup   #faithfulinkspirations  We recently made some great cards using stamp sets and supplies from the Holiday Catalog at my upline's Holiday Catalog gathering. Today's card is one of those great cards!

We started by stamping the Eskimo image from the "Cookie Cutter Christmas" stamp set in Basic Black Archival Ink on to Whisper White Card Stock. We punched out the Eskimo using the matching Cookie Cutter Builder Punch. We used Blender Pens to color the Eskimo's suit in Crumb Cake. We added some Clear Wink of Stella on the fur around the hood, cuffs, and fringe.

This card is easy to assemble. We adhered a panel from the Candy Cane Lane Designer Series paper onto a Whisper White mat and tied a couple of lengths of Linen Thread around before adding it to a Crumb Cake Card Stock base.  Next, we punched a 2" Circle of Basic Black and adhered that to the card. We added the Eskimo using Stampin' Dimensionals.

We stamped a sentiment from the "Cookie Cutter Christmas" set in Early Espresso onto a Whisper White strip and flagged the end with the Banner Triple Punch. We adhered this directly to the card...and done!

Red Bowed Reindeer

#stampinup   #faithfulinkspirations  Today's card was made by Dori Schneider--one of the members of the Proverbial Stampers group. I received this card in a swap. It's so cute that I had to share it with you.

Dori used the "Cookie Cutter Christmas" stamp set and matching Cookie Cutter Builder punch--remember, you can save 10% when you purchase the bundle (143493). Dori stamped the reindeer in Early Espresso Ink onto Crumb Cake and punched it out with the matching punch. See that cute bow on the reindeer's head? That's one of the elements of the Cookie Cutter Builder Punch--Dori punched a Real Red scrap and adhered this to the reindeer. She added a White Perfect Accent, too, for some added interest!

Dori cut a Very Vanilla Circle with the Layering Circles Framelits and a Real Red scalloped circle from the same Framelits set. I LOVE how these framelits layer together so well!! She adhered the reindeer to the circles.

Next, Dori cut strips of Very Vanilla Card Stock and some strips from Candy Cane Lane Designer Series paper. She flagged the ends of the larger pieces with the Banner Triple Punch.

Starting from the Crumb Cake card base, Dori added a Real Red mat and then a Very Vanilla panel. She added the DSP strips and then the reindeer element. Adorable!!
