Did you know that the items on pages 16 through 9 of the SAB brochure (“Sky Is the Limit” and “Hello” stamp sets and Perfectly Artistic Designer Series Paper) are only available until February 15? What?! So, if you want any of these items as a FREE SAB item (with a $50 order), you'll need to act fast!! Don't fret too much, though. Because there will be NEW items to replace these on February 16.
Let's take a look at this card! I wanted to feature the gorgeous Perfectly Artistic DSP--especially since one of the sheets looks like the sky! So I started with a panel of the Soft Sky DSP and added banners from the swirly side of the Pacific Point, Crumb Cake, and Basic Gray DSP. The banners are 1", 1.5" and 2" wide and they're each flagged with the Triple Banner Punch. After I adhered these to the Soft Sky panel, I wrapped two lengths of Basic Black Baker's Twine around the top and adhered everything to a Basic Gray card base.
Next, I stamped the airplane in Basic Black Archival Ink onto a Whisper White scrap and cut it out with an oval from the Ovals Framelits Collection. I adhered this to the card with Stampin' Dimensionals, tucking the oval under the Baker's Twine.
Finally, I stamped the "happy birthday" sentiment in Basic Black Archival Ink onto the bottom corner of the card--which serendipitously fit perfectly!! It's almost like I planned to do that.
This card would be great for a man's birthday. (Thank you, Capt. Obvious).
This card is my entry into this week's Create with Connie and Mary sketch challenge.
