Grapefruit Love

#stampinup   #faithfulinkspirations   I hope you've been enjoying this week's series of cards made with Stampin' Up's "Detailed with Love" stamp set. And I hope you've liked seeing all five of the 2018-2020 In Colors: Lovely Lipstick, Pineapple Punch, Call Me Clover, Blueberry Bushel, and today's color, Grapefruit Grove.

For this card, we used the "Detailed with Love" stamp set and the coordinating Detailed Trio Punch. These two items come in a bundle (clear mount-item 148328; wood mount-item 148327), which saves you 10% over purchasing them separately. Here's the gorgeous card we made at the Proverbial Stampers & Friends event.

We started by punching the fleur de lis in the top two corners of a 3-3/4" by 5" Whisper White Card Stock  Panel. We adhered a 2" by 4-7/8" piece of Grapefruit Grove Designer Series Paper from the 2018-2020 In Color 6" by 6" DSP pack to the bottom of this piece. Then we stamped a sentiment from the "Detailed with Love" stamp set in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink on to the card and filled in the dots with a Grapefruit Grove Stampin' Write Marker.

We adhered this piece to a 3-7/8" by 5-1/8" Grapefruit Grove Card Stock mat. Then we wrapped a length of Whisper White Classic Weave Ribbon around before adhering everything to a Whisper White Card Stock card base.

Clover Love

#stampinup   #faithfulinkspirations   Whenever I hold a Stampin' Up workshop or stamp-a-stack or stamp camp or any other event, I design what I think are some cute cards for my guests to make. Most people want to copy the sample card exactly, but there are some who think outside the box. Some of my guests will rotate the card from portrait to landscape. Others are aren't as anal precise as I am in lining up the layers and purposefully adhere the layers so they're askew. And I LOVE that! I love it when someone puts their own creative spin on my design. I always say, "I give you the supplies. You can make whatever you want with them.

Well, I followed my own advice for this card that we made at the Proverbial Stampers & Friends new catalog event. The sample card had the Color Me Clover and Blueberry Bushel flowers lined up in a a nice two-by-three pattern, perfectly spaced. I knew that was going to be "too much tension" to try to do, so I just stamped my flowers randomly. Great idea--I like the random look, but then my piece of Color Me Clover  Designer Series Paper from the 2018-2020 In Color 6" by 6" DSP pack didn't fit. No problem, I cut my piece down to a 1/4" and flagged the end with my Paper Snips. And I had just enough room to stamp the sentiment from the "Detailed with Love" set in Blueberry Bushel Ink.

To finish the card, we adhered the stamped panel (3-3/4" by 5" Whisper White Card Stock) to a 3-7/8" by 5-1/8" Blueberry Bushel Card Stock mat and then onto a Whisper White Card Stock card base. And, finally, we added some Basic Rhinestone Jewels to the flower centers.

Pineapple Love

#stampinup   #faithfulinkspirations Goodness! Pineapple Punch is such a bright and fun color. It's one of Stampin' Up's new 2018-2020 In Colors. Today, I've paired it with Basic Black and two other new In Colors for some pop!

This is another card that we made at the Proverbial Stampers & Friends event using the "Detailed with Love" stamp set. We stamped one of the sentiments in Memento Tuxedo Black onto Whisper White Card Stock and cut it out with a Layering Oval Framelit. We cut a just-larger Basic Black scalloped oval with the same set of framelits. We adhered these two elements together with Snail Adhesive and filled in the dots with Blueberry Bushel, Call Me Clover, and Pineapple Punch Stampin' Write Markers.

We embossed a 3-3/4" by 5" Pineapple Punch Card Stock panel with the Polka Dot Basics Embossing Folder and adhered it to a 3-7/8" by 5-1/8" Basic Black Card Stock mat. We wrapped a length of Color Me Clover, Pineapple Punch, and Blueberry Bushel 1/8" Grosgrain Ribbon around this before using Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere it to a Whisper White Card Stock card base.

Lipstick Love

#stampinup   #faithfulinkspirations   This is going to be a fun week of card shares. I made all of this week's cards at the Proverbial Stampers & Friends new catalog event. We used the "Detailed with Love" stamp set and all the new 2018-2020 In Colors. Take a look at today's card that features Lovely Lipstick. Yum!

We stamped the medallion from the "Detailed with Love" stamp set in Lovely Lipstick Ink onto Whisper White Card Stock and cut it out with a Layering Oval Framelit. We cut a just-larger scalloped oval from the Layering Ovals Framelits and adhered these two pieces together.

Next, we embossed a 4" by 5-1/4" Lovely Lipstick Card Stock panel with the Polka Dot Basics Embossing Folder and then adhered it to a Whisper White Card Stock card base.

We cut a 1/4" strip of Lovely Lipstick paper from the 2018-2020 In Color Designer Series Paper 6" by 6" stack and adhered this to the card. We used Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the stamped medallion element. We tied a knot in a length of Whisper White Classic Weave Ribbon and adhered it to the card with a Glue Dot for a fun finishing touch.
