Thanks, LIttle Piggy

#stampinup   #faithfulinkspirations   #ChallengeWednesday   #TGIFC19   If it's Wednesday, it's time to play along in another fun stamping blog challenge. This week I'm playing along with the TGIF Challenges crew and it's a color challenge! The design team has chosen three of the new In Colors. These three colors are so sweet--I knew almost immediately which stamp sets I would use!

I started by stamping one of the cute pigs from the "This Little Piggy" stamp set in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink onto Whisper White Card Stock. I squeezed some Rococo Rose Ink into the lid of the stamp pad and colored the pig with a Blender Pen. I colored the grass with a Light Old Olive Stampin' Blend. I cut out the pig with a large Stitched Shapes Die and adhered it to a scalloped Seaside Spray Card Stock mat that I cut with one of the Layering Circles Dies. I didn't like how "flat" the pig looked, so I washed over the ink with some Wink of Stella.

I masked off the bottom of the pig (the grassy area) with washi tape and inked up the stamp with Seaside Spray Ink. I stamped this onto a Whisper White scrap and punched it out with the Classic Label Punch. I snipped off the points with my Paper Snips and adhered this to the card with Mini Stampin' Dimensionals. I also stamped the "thanks" sentiment in Seaside Spray Ink onto Whisper White Card Stock. I cut that out with an oval Stitched Shapes Die and adhered it to a scalloped Seaside Spray oval that I cut with a Layering Ovals Die.

I stamped the "Buffalo Check" background stamp in Purple Posy Ink onto a 3-3/4" by 5" Whisper White Panel. I adhered that to a 4" by 5-1/4" Seaside Spray Card Stock mat. I tied on a length of Whisper White Flax Ribbon before adhering everything to a Purple Posy Card Stock card base.

I adhered the pig circle and "thanks" oval to the card with Stampin' Dimensionals. For a finishing touch, I added three Gingham Gala Adhesive-Backed Sequins for a little extra sparkle.

And now a word from our sponsor. Stampin' Up has TWO amazing promotions going on right now. The first is July Bonus Days: for every $50 you spend before July 31 (before shipping and tax), you will earn a $5 Bonus Days coupon code that can be used August 1–31. How cool is that?

The second promotion gives you Extra, Extra Stampin' Up merchandise when you join my team during July or August. The cost of the new demonstrator starter kit is $99--but from now until August 31, new demonstrators will receive an additional $30--which means you can put $155 of any Stampin' Up merch you'd like in your new demonstrator starter kit. And the month after you sign up, you’ll receive a $10 coupon code to spend the following month.

Contact me today for details about either of these offers!

It's (Almost) Here!!

#stampinup   #faithfulinkspirations   The new catalog is (almost) here! It goes live tomorrow and I'm so excited about all the fabulous new stamp sets, inks, designer series papers, and embellishments! I've been giving you some sneak peeks over the last month, but this week it's all new, all the time--and will continue to be new and continuting 'cause the new catalog is (almost) here!

But first, I want to tell you about some changes to my blog that I hope you'll enjoy. Starting next Monday, each day of the week (Monday through Friday) will have a theme that I hope will inspire you. Here's the schedule:

Manic Monday: I'll feature quick and easy cards that you can make on the go at the last minute

Protip Tuesday: I'll share some tips of the trade that will make your stampin' life easier!

Want a Challenge? Wednesday: I'll be playing along in some of my favorite online challenge groups and I'll invite YOU to play along, too!

Thoughful Thursday: I'll share cards and other projects (surprise?) for thoughtful occasions.

Fabulous Friday: These projects will be a little bit fab and fancy, pulling out all the Stampin' Up fun!

Sounds fun, right? How about some fun now--a something continuing into the new catalog and a new In Color: Rococo Rose.

I started by stamping the "Buffalo Check" background stamp in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink onto a 3-3/4" by 5" Rococo Rose Card Stock panel. I adhered this to a 3-7/8" by 5-1/8" Basic Black Card Stock mat. I wrapped a length of Whisper White Flax Ribbon around and then adhered everything to a Thick Whisper White Card Stock card base.

Next, I stamped one of the pigs from the "This Little Piggy" stamp set in Tuxedo Black onto Whisper White Card Stock. I colored the pig with a combination of  Light and Dark Petal Pink, Light Lovely Lipstick, and Light Calypso Coral Stampin' Blends. I colored the grass with a Light Old Olive Stampin' Blend.

I cut out the pig with a square Stitched Shape Die and adhered it to a scalloped Rococo Rose Card Stock mat that I cut with one of the Layering Squares Dies. I adhered this piece to the card with Stampin' Dimensionals.

I finished the card by adding three Rhinestone Basic Jewels.

I can't wait for you to see what I have in store for you tomorrow and the rest of the week. And remember the new catalog goes live on June 4th! Whoo-hoo!!!
