Manic Monday Kerchief Cards

#stampinup   #faithfulinkspirations   #ManicMonday   Well, well, well. Look who's back in the blogosphere. Yeah, I've been away from the stampin' room for a while now. I've missed it, but I've been incredibly busy. I've started a new position at work and I'm working long days (that's only temporary, yay!) and I just haven't had the stampin' mojo, know what I mean? Then I got distracted by knitting...and tidying. If you follow me on Instagram or my personal Facebook page, you'll see that I've done my closet, the linen closet, and the biggest task yet, the kitchen pantry! It's a lot of work, but the end results are so worth it....except, that it doesn't leave lot of time for stamping.

It's Manic Monday, which means I'll be showing you a quick and easy card that you can make in a hurry (just what you and I need). But instead of one card, I made a bunch using the Sale-a-Bration Kerchief Card Kit that you can earn for FREE with a $50 purchase during Sale-a-Bration (through March 31, 2020). This kit is so cute--and the cards come together so quickly because there is no stamping. All the parts are there for assembly! What?! Take a look!

Here are the super cute cards, individually. If you look closely at the background, you'll see that the really look like bandanas, oh, excuse me, like kerchiefs.

I put all 8 cards together in 30 minutes! They're perfect for a Manic Monday!

Want to get your hands on these cards? It's easy, just place a $50 (or more) order with me before the end of Sale-a-Bration (March 31) and you can choose the Kerchief Card Kit for FREE!!

Buzzy Birthday

#stampinup   #faithfulinkspirations   #ManicMonday   #saleabration   I don't know what it is, but I'm a sucker for bee stamps and bee designer series paper. (Not so much IRL bees, though.) I was so happy to see the "Honey Bee" stamp set and coordinating Detailed Bee Dies in the January-to-June Mini Catalog. And I was thrilled to see the gorgeous Golden Honey Specialty Designer Series Paper as a FREE item in the Sale-a-Bration catalog!

I have a really quick and easy--and gorgeous--card for your Manic Monday that uses this awesome Specialty DSP! It's quick because the DSP is the star of the show and because you can punch a couple of elements and bee done! (See what I did there?!)
We made this card at the Proverbial Stampers & Friends new catalog gathering. We started by adhering a 2" by 4" striped strip of Golden Honey DSP to a Basic Black Card Stock card base. Next, we adhered a 3" by 4" piece of another sheet of this gorgeous DSP to a 3-1/4" by 4-1/4" Basic Black Card Stock mat. We adhered this piece to the card with Stampin' Dimensionals.

We stamped the sentiment from the "Sending You Thoughts" stamp set (FREE with a $50 order) in Memento Tuxedo Black onto Whisper White Card Stock and punched it out with the 1-1/2" Circle Punch. We punched a label from Basic Black Card Stock with the Story Label Punch and adhered the stamped circle to it. We adhered the assembled sentiment piece to the card with Stampin' Dimensionals. For a finishing touch we added two Gold Faceted Gems to the Basic Black label. So, so cute, don't you think?

Lookin' Sharp

#stampinup   #faithfulinkspirations   #saleabration   #ManicMonday Over the weekend, I attended my Stampin' Up Group's new catalog gathering. We made16 make-and-take cards using new stamp sets and products from the January-to-June Mini and Sale-a-Bration catalogs. I also participated in a swap and received more than a dozen gorgeous cards.

Since today is Manic Monday, I have a quick and easy card to share that we made at the Proverbial Stampers & Friends gathering. It uses the ever so adorable "Witty-cisms" stamp set on page 37 of the January-to-June Mini catalog. Take a look!
We started by adhering a 1-1/2" by 4" piece of striped Bird Ballad Designer Series Paper to a Cajun Craze Card Stock card base.  Our stampin' helpers had already pre-cut Crushed Curry and Whisper White rectangles using the new Stitched So Sweetly Dies on page 20. I've got to say that I totally missed these the first thousand times I paged through the catalog...but they're awesome!

We stamped the cactus image in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink onto the Whisper White rectangle and colored it with Light and Dark Old Olive Stampin' Blends--and it only took a few seconds to color! We adhered the layered rectangles to the card with Stampin' Dimensionals.

For a finishing touch, we tied a knot in the center of a length of Braided Burlap Trim and adhered it to the card with a Mini Glue Dot.

We made this card in a snap--and you can too! It's perfect for a Manic Monday. All the supplies needed to make this card are listed below. Just click on any thumbnail and you'll be taken to my online store where you can shop to your heart's content. And remember: for every $50 you spend during Sale-a-Bration you earn FREE product!

Dressed to Impress

#stampinup   #faithfulinkspirations   #Manic Monday   #saleabration   Happy New Year! Not only is it the start to a brand new year and brand new decade--but it's the start of Stampin' Up's January to June Mini Catalog. And it's the most wonderful time of the Stampin' Up year--Sale-a-Bration!  I have some projects to show you from the November Stampin' Up event where we got to play with the new products before their release. But first, let me remind you about Sale-a-Bration.

From January 3rd through March 31st, every time you spend $50 on Stampin' Up product, you get to pick something from the Sale-a-Bration catalog for FREE! Take a look at the options over there in the catalog on the right side of my blog.

When you host a party (or spend $300 on an order), you'll not only earn hostess benefits, but you'll get the exclusive "Little Lady Bug" stamp set for FREE! (I'll be showing some ideas using that set next week.)

But the best Sale-a-Bration deal of all (in my opinion) comes when you take advantage of the "no-strings-attached bundle" that you get when you join Stampin' Up. Honestly, if you have $100 (or more) on your wish list, it is a much better deal to join Stampin' Up than to just place an order. Take a look at what you get when you join. (NOTE: You won't get to take advantage of the free Sale-a-Bration sets, though.)

OK, now for some stamping! Today is Manic Monday on my blog--that means I'm going to show you a project that you can make in a hurry. The "Dressed to Impress" stamp set and Best Dressed 3" by 3" Note Cards and Envelopes will fill that bill nicely.  With just one Smoky Slate Ink Pad and the stamp set, you can make this adorable gift cards. Take a look!

The cards come with the color "smudge" printed, so all you need to do is align two stamps on one acrylic block and stamp on to the card. And those envelopes are certainly dressed to impress.

There are loads of other products in the Best Dressed Suite on pages 54 to 56 of the January to June Mini Catalog--take a look at them in the catalog thumbnail on the right side of my blog.

Don't forget to come back tomorrow to see another project using products from the new Stampin' Up catalogs. As always, you can click on the thumbnails below my signature to purchase the supplies in my blog post--or any other Stampin' Up supplies.

Thanks so much for stopping by!
