In the meantime, I've made my own springtime! I used the sketch at this week's Create with Connie & Mary Sketch challenge.
I started by stamping three flowers from the "Petal Potpourri" stamp set: two in Daffodil Delight and one in Pacific Point. I punched them out with the coordinating Flower Medallion punch. I arranged them on a Whisper White mat onto which I stamped a sentiment from the "And Many More" stamp set.
I mounted this onto a Pacific Point mat, then onto a mat of Painted Blossoms Designer Series paper, and then onto a Whisper White card base.

I love how you used the patterned paper to frame the front panel. The bold colors of the flowers really pop! Thanks for joining us this week at Create with Connie and Mary.
ReplyDeleteThis is so bright and cheerful - what a great general greeting card! The hint of flowers in the designer paper border are a nice compliment to the big flowers on the front panel. Thank you for joining us at Create with Connie and Mary!
ReplyDeleteI love how you used the dsp. Instead of making it a focal point and 'losing' your pretty flowers on it, it creates the perfect frame! Thanks for playing along this week in the Create with Connie and Mary Thursday Challenge!
ReplyDeleteSo pretty...love the blue flowers and the "rim" of the DSP! Makes me happy! Thanks for playing along with the sketch challenge this week on Create with Connie and Mary!
ReplyDeleteThere's always that one person who has to flip the sketch! LOL! Just kidding! I like how you turned the sketch and the DSP as a frame around the main images is fantastic! I never know what to do with the bright patterns in some packages and this is a great idea! Thanks for playing the Create with Connie and Mary sketch challenge this week!
ReplyDeleteSo pretty ow you layer the DSP behind the main panel and then continued the flower theme on the front with the larger flowers! Turning the sketch and using the larger trio of flowers really makes an statement! Thanks for joining us for the sketch challenge this week at Create with Connie and Mary!
ReplyDeleteSo pretty in these colours!! I love the cascade of flowers and the background DSP. :) Thanks for joining us at Create with Connie and Mary this week. :)
