I haven't used the "Work of Art" stamp set in a long time. Demonstrators who attended the catalog reveal last year received this stamp set for FREE. We were ALL using it for a while because it was the only set we had from the new catalog. And then we saw a bunch of squirrels and forgot about this set--well, I forgot about it.
I thought "Work of Art" would be a great choice for this week's color challenge at the Create with Connie & Mary challenge blog.
I started with a Basic Gray card base and added a Whisper White panel. I stamped the zigzag element from the "Work of Art" set three times in Soft Sky. Next I cut a Wild Wasabi square to use as a mat and a slightly smaller Whisper White square. I stamped one of the spotches in Soft Sky full strength, and then stamped off one time. Then I stamped the splotch in Wild Wasabi full strength, and then stamped off once. I added the sentiment in Basic Gray.
I added a length of Wild Wasabi Seam Binding Ribbon at the bottom of the card--I can't seem to make a card without ribbon!! I mounted the square element with Stampin' Dimensionals and finished the card by randomly adding some Basic Rhinestones.
