Pretty Birthday Wishes

#stampinup   #faithfulinkspirations   I've been saving some of the swap cards I received during the November OnStage event. I had so many Christmas ideas and then I had to share the fun new stuff from the Occasions and Sale-a-Bration catalogs. But let's not forget that the annual catalog has awesome stamp sets, designer series papers, and accessories.  This card features some wonderful products from the annual catalog. It was made by Linda Wright.

Linda stamped the "birthday wishes" sentiment, flower, and branches from the "Happiest of Days" stamp set in Basic Black Archival Ink onto Whisper White Card Stock. She cut this out with an oval Stitched Shapes Framelit and adhered it to a Tranquil Tide scalloped oval mat, cut with one of the Layering Ovals Framelits. Linda colored the flower with Pool Party Ink and the leaves with Old Olive Ink and a Blender Pen. I love her soft, subtle coloring!

Next, Linda embossed a 3-7/8" by 5-1/8" piece of Pool Party Card Stock with the Petal Burst Embossing Folder. She adhered this to a Whisper White Card Stock card base.  She added a 1-3/4" by 5-1/8" strip of Whole Lot of Lovely Designer Series Paper to the card and then used Stampin' Dimensionals to add the sentiment piece. She added two Glitter Enamel Dots to the sentiment piece for a lovely finishing touch.

I love this card! I may just need to get that "Happiest of Days" set so I can recreate this card!!
