Moroccan Tiles

#stampinup   #faithfulinkspirations   I'm playing with the "Moroccan Nights" stamp set one last time before it retires and I've made something a little bit outside the box. I'm really pleased with how this card turned out and it was super simple to make!!
I started by stamping the medallion in Blushing Bride, Calypso Coral, So Saffron, Pear Pizzazz, Pool Party, and Wisteria Wonder on Whisper White Card Stock. Then I used the Layering Square Framelit that measures 1-7/8" on the inside to cut each of the "tiles" for the card.  I adhered them to a 4" by 5-1/4" Whisper White panel.  This left space for me to tie on a length of Whisper White ribbon from the Succulent Garden Combo Pack. I adhered this to a Sahara Sand Card Stock card base.

Next, I stamped a sentiment from the "Tin of Cards" stamp set in Memento Tuxedo Black onto a Whisper White scrap and punched it out with the Decorative Label Punch. I adhered the label to the card with Stampin' Dimensionals.

Remember: The products in red are retiring at the end of May. The ribbon is on sale! Tools and accessories are only available while supplies last, so don't delay if you want any of these goodies!

Moroccan Thanks

#stampinup   #faithfulinkspirations   The "Moroccan Nights" stamp set and Moroccan Designer Series Paper went to the top of my wish list as soon as they appeared at Stampin' Up's OnStage event (before the catalog even came out). I'm in love with this set and this gorgeous DSP!! I'm sad to see it go so soon. I pulled my old friends out for one last playtime....or maybe a second-to-last playtime.
This card is quick and easy--and you can swap out the sentiment to make it a birthday card. I might just have to make a stack of these!

I started by stamping the large medallion stamp in Marina Mist onto a 4-7/8" by 3-5/8" Very Vanilla Card Stock panel.  Then I stamped the lanterns on top of the medallion in Dapper Denim Ink.  The sentiment is from the also retiring "B.Y.O.P." set and it's also stamped in Dapper Denim.

I adhered the stamped panel to a 5-1/8" by 3-7/8" piece of Moroccan DSP and then on to a Dapper Denim Card Stock card base.

I thought the card needed a little sparkle, so I colored parts of the lanterns with Gold Wink of Stella. Yep! That's the ticket! I wish you could see how sparkly they are IRL!

Remember, the items in red are retiring at the end of May 2017.  You'll probably still be able to get the stamp sets until that time, but the tools and accessories, including DSP, are only available while supplies last. Get 'em while they're hot!

Moroccan Resist

#stampinup   #faithfulinkspirations   Today I'm sharing the last of four samples made with the "Moroccan Nights" stamp set. This card shows how versatile the stamp set can be.

I stamped the large medallion from the "Moroccan Nights" stamp set in Versamark onto a Soft Sky panel. Then I sprinkled on White Stampin' Emboss Powder and heat set the designs with my Heat Tool. I adhered this panel to a Whisper White mat and then onto a Night of Navy card base.

Next, I stamped a banner from the "Thoughtful Banners" stamp set in Pool Party onto a Whisper White scrap. I added the "thank you" sentiment in Pool Party, also from "Thoughtful Banners." (PRO TIP: Photopolymer stamps are bendable so you can easily fit them into the banners!) I punched this out with the Duet Banner Punch.

To finish the card, I adhered a silver Metallic Foil Doily, a folded piece of 1/4" Silver Natural Trim, and then the thank you banner.

I hope you enjoyed these cards. Come back tomorrow for the last four-sample series using one more new stamp set bundle!

Moroccan Lanterns

#stampinup   #faithfulinkspirations   We made this card at our Stampin' Up/Proverbial Stampers team meeting and I love the bold, beautiful colors!

Start with a Very Vanilla panel. Stamp the large medallion from the "Moroccan Nights" stamp set in Crushed Curry on the left side of the panel--you'll need to stamp it off the side of the card stock so you'll have room to stamp the lanterns.  Next stamp each of the three lanterns in Elegant Eggplant, Cajun Craze, and Dapper Denim. Finally, stamp the medallion banner in Dapper Denim at the bottom of the panel.

Here's the fun part: Take your Gold Wink of Stella Glitter Brush and squeeze some ink down to the tip. Next, use your finger to flick splatters of gold onto the panel. Yep, it's messy and your finger will turn gold, but the effect is so worth the mess. (And I HATE mess!)

I tied a length of Gold Ribbon onto the top of the panel and then adhered it to a Dapper Denim card base.

Finally, a stamped a sentiment from the "Watercolor Wishes" stamp set (available only in the all-inclusive "Watercolor Wishes" kit) in Dapper Denim onto a Very Vanilla scrap and punched it out with the Decorative Label Punch. I adhered this to the card with Stampin' Dimensionals.

Be sure to come back tomorrow when I'll be sharing the last of four cards in this series of cards made with the "Moroccan Nights" stamp set.
