Amazingly Fresh

This week's sketch at the Freshly Made Sketches challenge is simple enough...and sometimes that gives me trouble. Thankfully, the design team had some wonderful cards for inspiration--along with inspiring entries into the challenge!


I made a panel using the Painted Petals stamp set that I borrowed from one of my downlines. I turned out great--until I got a smudge of that "devil color" Blackberry Bliss on it. So I grabbed my trusty Gorgeous Grunge set and stamped some splotches onto the image. I stamped off twice before I stamped the splotches so they wouldn't overwhelm the image.

The scallops at the bottom of the sketch threw me for a loop for a while until I remembered the Tea Lace Paper Doilies. I think it gives a vintage touch to the card. I added a strand of the new Blackberry Bliss In-Color Thick Baker's Twine that I earned for Free during Sale-A-Bration!
