Lovely Love Notes

#stampinup   #faithfulinkspirations   Did you know that Valentine's Day is one of the top card-giving days of the year?  The top occasion for sending a greeting card is birthdays.  The top holiday for sending card is Christmas.  Valentine's Day is the second most popular holiday for sending a greeting card.*  It's right around the corner, so if you want to make your special someones' special day even more special, how about sending a card that you made especially for them?

Of course, Stampin' Up has all the products you'll need to create beautiful cards and gifts for Valentine's Day (and every occasion)!  Today I'm going to show you two adorable 3" by 3" love notes made with products from the Sending Love Suite in the Occasions catalog!

These cards are super easy to make!  Start with a 3" by 6" strip of Sending Love Designer Series Paper as your card base.  Just cut one of the 6" x 6" pieces in the stack in half!  You'll also need a 2-3/4" square of Whisper White Card Stock.

The card on the left has a sentiment from the "Sealed with Love" stamp set stamped in Mint Macaron.  The arrow is cut with one of the Love Notes Framelits Dies from Real Red Card Stock.  I used the Fine-Tip Glue Pen to adhere this to the card and a Glue Dot to adhere the Emerald Envy Baker's Twine bow.

I stamped the brushstroke stamp from the "Sealed with Love" stamp set in Mint Macaron onto the card on the left.  I stamped the sentiment from the same set in Real Red.  Next, I cut the heart from Emerald Envy Card Stock and the arrow from Real Red Card Stock using the Love Note Framelits.  I tied a length of Emerald Envy Baker's Twine around the Whisper White square before adhering it to the card base.  Finally, I added a wooden Sending Love heart to the card.  So cute!
