Happiest Birthday

#stampinup   #faithfulinkspirations   We had so much fun at the Proverbial Stampers Occasions gathering.  Along with eating great food and hanging with our stamping friends, we had a blast making a stack of cards from the (not so new anymore) Occasions catalog.  I love the different ways the card designers used the "Cool Treats" stamp set and coordinating Frozen Treats Framelits.  Today's card is no exception to the fun cards we made!

We started by stamping the "happiest birthday" sentiment from the "Cool Treats" set in Watermelon Wonder onto a 2" by 3-3/4" piece of Whisper White Card Stock.  We added the "I hope your day is sweet" sentiment in Early Espresso.  We adhered this piece to a 2-1/8" by 3-7/8" piece of Early Espresso Card Stock.

Next, we adhered a 3-3/4" by 5" piece of the Tasty Treats Specialty Designer Series Paper to a 3-7/8" by 5-1/8" Watermelon Wonder mat.  We wrapped a length of Whisper White Baker's Twine around this piece twice and tied it into a bow on the side.  Then we adhered it to a Crumb Cake Card Stock card base.  We adhered the matted sentiment piece to the card using Stampin' Dimensionals.

Then, we stamped an ice cream treat in Peekaboo Peach Ombre Ink, added a Peekaboo Peach drip, stamped the stick in Crumb Cake Ink onto Whisper White Card Stock, and cut it out with the matching Frozen Treats Framelit.  We stamped the triangular cone in Crumb Cake Ink onto Whisper White Card Stock and cut it out with one of the framelits.  We cut a Pool Party ice cream scoop and an Early Espresso hot fudge topping with the framelits, too.

We adhered the Peekaboo Peach treat to the matted sentiment with a Stampin' Dimensional.  The cone is adhered directly to the sentiment while the ice cream scoop is adhered to the card with a Stampin' Dimensional.

So cute! This would be a great card for just about anyone on your birthday card list!
