Stitched Pretty

#stampinup   #faithfulinkspirations   Stampin' Up introduced their new cling stamps at the OnStage event in November. They are amazing!! If you've ever stamped with me, you know that I never put the labels on my clear mount stamps because they just didn't stick very well and they were supes frustrating! Well, Stampin' Up fixed that problem with their new line of cling stamps. From now on, Stampin' Up will be offering only photopolymer stamps and cling stamps. No more wood mount stamps...except for the large background stamps (for now). And no more won't-stick-to-the-block clear mount stamps. I'm so excited! Please watch this video from Stampin' Up to learn all about the cling mount stamps--how they work and how to use them. Yesterday's project used the "Geared Up Garage" cling stamps and there are many, many others to choose from in the new Occasions and Sale-a- Bration catalogs!

Today's card uses product from the Needlepoint Nook Suite of products in the Occasions catalog. Let's take a look at this sweet card.

We started by stamping a row of stitches from the "Needle & Thread" stamp set at the top and bottom of a Thick Whisper White Card Stock card base in Lovely Lipstick Ink.  Next we adhered a 3-3/4" by 4-1/2" piece of Needlepoint Nook Designer Series Paper to the card. We then ran a 3-3/4" by 4" piece of Blushing Bride Card Stock through the Big Shot with one of the Needlepoint Elements Framelits Dies--look at that pretty stitched pattern! We adhered this to the card with Stampin' Dimensionals.

Next, we stamped a sentiment from the "Needle & Thread" stamp set in Lovely Lipstick onto a 3/4" by 3" Whisper White strip and adhered this to the card with Stampin' Dimensionals. We stamped the stitched flowers and yo-yo in Blushing Bride Ink onto Whisper White and cut them out with their matching Needlepoint Element Framelit Die. We adhered them to the card with Mini Stampin' Dimensionals. We tied a length of Old Olive Linen Thread into a pretty bow and adhered it to the card with a Glue Dot. And for a little bit of bling, we added a few Share What You Love Artisan Pearls to the centers of the flowers. So pretty!!

Tomorrow I'll entice you with the no-strings attached bundle when you join Stampin' Up during Sale-a-Bration, so come on back!

Reminder: You can't buy the Occasions products until January 3, 2019, but after that time, you can click on these thumbnails and go right to my online store to purchase them! The Annual Catalog items are available now!
