Traditional Christmas

#stampinup   #faithfulinkspirations   I really like today's card--it's classic, traditional, simple, and beautiful! We made this card at the Proverbial Stampers & Friends gathering and it's one of my favorites. If you're in a crunch to get your Christmas cards made, you could crank out a bunch of these in no time!

We embossed a 4" by 5-1/4" piece of Whisper White Card Stock with the Winter Knit Embossing Folder. We adhered a 4" by 2" strip of Wrapped in Plaid Designer Series Paper to the bottom of the panel and then wrapped a length of Cherry Cobbler Diagonal Striped Ribbon around before adhering the assembly to a Cherry Cobbler Card Stock card base.

Next we stamped one of the trees from the "Perfectly Plaid" stamp set in Shaded Spruce Ink onto Whisper White and punched it out with the Pine Tree Punch. You can get the stamp set and punch in a bundle and save 10% over purchasing the items separately. We stamped the sentiment in Shaded Spruce onto Whisper White Card Stock and cut it out with one of the Layering Ovals Dies. We adhered this to a scalloped Cherry Cobbler oval that we cut with another Layering Ovals Die.

We adhered the tree and the sentiment piece to the card with Stampin' Dimensionals. For a finishing touch, we added two of the gorgeous Holiday Rhinestone Basic Jewels to the card.
