A Beautiful Day

#stampinup   #faithfulinkspirations   Sometimes I hit on an idea for a card that's outside my usual "box" and I surprise myself. Does that ever happen to you? Today's card kind of came together organically and I was quite pleased with the results.

I started by using a Layering Circle Framelit to cut three circles from the lovely Share What You Love Specialty Designer Series Paper. Next, I stamped a sentiment from the "Love What You Do" stamp set in Rich Razzleberry Ink onto a Whisper White scrap and cut this out with the same Layering Circle Framelit. I also cut a Vellum Card Stock circle. I laid these pieces on top of a 4" by 5-1/4" Rich Razzleberry Card Stock mat and they magically came together in this sweet layout!

Then I remembered that I had a 1/4 of a Pearlized Doily leftover from a project earlier in the week and I tucked that in to the design. I added four sprays of Old Olive Card Stock leaves that I punched with the Leaf Punch. Everything is adhered directly to the card--except the sentiment piece. I used Stampin' Dimensionals for that one.  The card base is Old Olive. I really {heart} this card!!

#stampinup   #faithfulinkspirations   I can't get enough of Stampin' Up's Share What You Love Specialty Designer Series Paper. It's so beautiful and pictures just don't do it justice. You have to see it in real life to appreciate it. I've got another quick and easy card today that uses products from the Share What You Love Suite of products that have been released early. Look at how pretty this is!

I started with a 3-7/8" by 5-1/8" Basic Black Card Stock mat. I cut a 3-3/4" by 5" piece of the Share What You Love DSP and then cut a 1-1/2" strip and turned it over before adhering both pieces to the Basic Black mat. I wrapped a length of Basic Black Shimmer Ribbon at the seam between the pieces and then adhered everything to a Mint Macaron Card Stock* card base.

Next, I stamped a sentiment from the "Love What You Do" stamp set in Tranquil Tide Ink and added a floral spray in Mint Macaron Ink* from the same stamp set. I cut this out with one of the Stitched Shapes Framelits and added it to the card with Stampin' Dimensionals.

#stampinup   #faithfulinkspirations   All this week I'm sharing cards made with products from Stampin' Up's Share What You Love Suite that you can buy right now--before the catalog goes live. Take a look at yesterday's blog post for a video that shows you all the products in the three bundles. I know that once you see all that gorgeousness, you'll be ready to get these items in your hot little hands! 

If the video hasn't convinced you, how about another card? Today's card is really quick and easy to make (my favorite kind of card)!!

I started with a 3-3/4" by 5" Whisper White panel and randomly stamped the group of small flowers from the "Love What You Do" stamp set in Grapefruit Grove Ink--that's one of the new 2018-2020 In Colors! I added a sentiment and some floral sprigs from the same stamp set in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink.

I adhered this to a 3-7/8" by 5-1/8" Basic Black mat. Then I added a 1-1/2" by 5-1/8" strip of the beautiful Share What You Love Specialty Designer Series Paper. Using a little strip  makes it a bit easier to cut into that wonderful DSP--but guess what! This is a super-sized pack. There are 24 sheets, 6 double-sided designs, which means there are 4 of each sheet!

To finish the card, I wrapped a length of Basic Black Shimmer Ribbon around before adhering the layers to a Grapefruit Grove Card Stock* card base. So pretty!!

Share What You Love Suite

Wanna see what I made with some products from this bundle? Of course you do!!

I started by stamping the watercolor wash stamp from the "Love What You Do" stamp set in Mint Macaron Ink* onto a 3" by 3-1/4" piece of Whisper White Card Stock. I stamped the flower outline and sentiment in Tranquil Tide Ink and then adhered this to a 3-1/8" by 3-3/8" Tranquil Tide Card Stock mat.

Next, I adhered a 3" by 5" piece of the gorgeous Share What You Love Specialty Designer Series Paper to a Tranquil Tide Card Stock card base. I added 3/4 of a Pearlized Doily (PROTIP: Since you weren't going to see it anyway, I cut 1/4 of the doily out and saved it for another card!) and then used Stampin' Dimensionals to add the stamped sentiment piece. 

For a finishing touch, I added three Share What You Love Artisan Pearls. Aren't they so sweet?!
