Yippee Zippy!

#stampinup   #faithfulinkspirations  The "Zany Zebras" stamp set in Stampin' Up's Annual Catalog is as cute as it can be! And there's another cute zebra image in the "Celebration of Tags" set, too! "Celebration of Tags" has images from several other sets in the catalog. Can you spot them all? 

We made today's card as part of our make-and-take packets from the Proverbial Stampers new catalog virtual gathering. I love being a part of the Proverbial Stampers group--we share ideas, we have great business and stamping training, we do fun activities together. You could be part of this group, too! We stamped the zebra from "Celebration of Tags" in Memento Tuxedo Black onto Whisper White Card Stock. The we used the coordinating Trio of Tags Dies to cut it out. I colored his balloon with a Dark Real Red Stampin' Blend and tied on a length of the gorgeous Real Red Double-Stitched Satin Ribbon. Then I adhered the tag to a Basic Black Card Stock circle that I cut with one of the Stitched Shapes Dies.

To build the card, we started with a Basic Black Card Stock card base, layered on a 3-3/4" by 5-1/2" Basic Gray Card Stock panel that we embossed with the Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder, and then a strip of Real Red Striped Playful Pets Designer Series Paper.

To finish the card, I adhered the circle and tag piece with Stampin' Dimensionals.

I love that the set was designed by Stampin' Up CEO Sara Douglass' husband Sean. Stampin' Up really is a family affair--another thing I love about "working" for this company. What's that they say? If you love what you do, you'll never work a day in your life! I love Stampin' Up! It's the best side-hustle!

Today's card is so fun! I started with a Night of Navy Card Stock card base. I added a 4" by 5-1/4" Whisper White Card Stock mat and then adhered a 3-3/4" by 5" Bermuda Bay Card Stock panel on top.

Next, I stamped two stars in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink at the corners of the Bermuda panel and then I adhered three 1" by 3" strips of Artistry Blooms Designer Series Paper to the card. I stamped the "You Got This" sentiment from the "Ridiculously Awesome" set in Tuxedo Black onto Whisper White Card Stock and cut it out with one of the Tasteful Labels Dies. PROTIP: You can stamp the sentiment into the center of the Whisper White mat and cut it out before you assemble the card!

I adhered the label to the card with Stampin' Dimensionals. Then I tied a knot in a length of Black Glittered Organdy Ribbon and adhered this to the card with a Mini Glue Dot. To finish the card with a little bling, I added three Artistry Blooms Sequins. So fun!

A Sunny Thank You

#stampinup   #faithfulinkspirations   Sometimes a tone on tone on tone card is just the ticket--especially when those tones come in a variety of patterns and textures. Today's card uses just two colors: the new 2020-2022 In Color Bumblebee and the stalwart Whisper White. I think this combination is stunning!

I started by stamping the large sunflower image from the "Celebrate Sunflowers" stamp set in Bumblebee Ink on a 3" by 4-1/4" Whisper White Card Stock panel. I added a 1/2" by 3" strip of polka dotted Bumblebee Designer Series Paper from the 2020-2022 In Color 6" by 6" DSP pack between the two flowers. Then I used Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere this panel to a 3-3/4" by 5" Bumblebee Card Stock panel that I embossed with the Scripty Embossing Folder. I adhered that to a 4" by 5-1/4" Whisper White Card Stock mat.

I wrapped a length of Bumblebee Gingham Ribbon (I love that ribbon!) around these layers and then I adhered them to a Bumblebee Card Stock card base.

To finish the card, I stamped a sentiment from the "Peaceful Moments" stamp set in Soft Suede Ink onto Whisper White Card Stock and cut it out with one of the Painted Labels Dies. I adhered this to the card with Stampin' Seal on the left and two Dimensionals on the right--so that the label lies flat on the card.

Happiest Birthday

#stampinup   #faithfulinkspirations   Stampin' Up's "Happiest of Birthdays" set is such a great set for making quick, bold birthday cards! I really like the large sentiments--they're so fun! For today's card, I paired the sentiment with textures and patterns. Take a look!

I started by stamping the sentiment in Calypso Coral Ink onto a 2-1/2" by 3-1/2" Whisper White Panel. I cut a 3" by 4" piece of the Playing with Patterns Designer Series Paper and I embossed a 3" by 4" piece of Calypso Coral Card Stock with the Absolutely Argyle 3D Embossing Folder.

Next, I embossed a 4" by 5-1/4" piece of Coastal Cabana Card Stock with the Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder and adhered it to a Thick Whisper White Card Stock card base. I arranged the Calypso Coral piece and the Playing with Patterns DSP piece and adhered them to the card. I adhered the sentiment piece to the card with Stampin' Dimensionals.

I tied a pretty bow with a length of Night of Navy Ribbon from the Playing with Patterns Ribbon Combo Pack and adhered it to the card with a Mini Glue Dot. For some fun finishing touches, I added three Playing with Patterns Resin Dots.
