Bunches of Thanks

#stampinup   #faithfulinkspirations   Yesterday I promised that I would show you a card using the wonderful "Sunflower Celebration" stamp set that uses the same colors. And here it is! If you missed yesterday's card, you can click here.

This card is so quick and easy to make! I stamped the fantastic sunflower image from the "Celebrate Sunflowers" set in Misty Moonlight Ink onto a 4" by 5-1/4" Misty Moonlight Card Stock panel. I adhered this to a Daffodil Delight Card Stock card base.

Next, I added a Just Jade polka dotted  1" by 5-1/4" strip of of the lovely Flowers for Every Season Designer Series Paper. I added another 1" by 5-/1'4 strip of the sunflowers on Misty Moonlight background DSP.

A stamped a sentiment from the "Celebrate Sunflowers" set in Bumblebee Ink onto a 1" Bumblebee Card Stock strip and flagged the end with my Paper Snips. To finish the card, I tied a bow with a length of  the Misty Moonlight/Whisper White Twine from the Flowers for Every Season Ribbon Combo Pack and adhered it to the card with a Mini Glue Dot.

A Sunny Thank You

#stampinup   #faithfulinkspirations   Sometimes a tone on tone on tone card is just the ticket--especially when those tones come in a variety of patterns and textures. Today's card uses just two colors: the new 2020-2022 In Color Bumblebee and the stalwart Whisper White. I think this combination is stunning!

I started by stamping the large sunflower image from the "Celebrate Sunflowers" stamp set in Bumblebee Ink on a 3" by 4-1/4" Whisper White Card Stock panel. I added a 1/2" by 3" strip of polka dotted Bumblebee Designer Series Paper from the 2020-2022 In Color 6" by 6" DSP pack between the two flowers. Then I used Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere this panel to a 3-3/4" by 5" Bumblebee Card Stock panel that I embossed with the Scripty Embossing Folder. I adhered that to a 4" by 5-1/4" Whisper White Card Stock mat.

I wrapped a length of Bumblebee Gingham Ribbon (I love that ribbon!) around these layers and then I adhered them to a Bumblebee Card Stock card base.

To finish the card, I stamped a sentiment from the "Peaceful Moments" stamp set in Soft Suede Ink onto Whisper White Card Stock and cut it out with one of the Painted Labels Dies. I adhered this to the card with Stampin' Seal on the left and two Dimensionals on the right--so that the label lies flat on the card.

Lovely Sunflower

#stampinup   #faithfulinkspirations   Y'all! Being back at work full-time is kicking my butt! I am totally exhausted when I get home--which doesn't make sense because I sit on my butt in an office all day. I guess the mental work is more than I've been used to these past few months. Mind you, I'm super happy to be at work. I love what I do and it brings me intellectual satisfaction, but man, at the end of the work day, I'm beat. Have you had to go back to work after being off for a while? Are you having trouble acclimating? I wish you well in that!

Anyway, I have actually been creating--mostly on the weekends and I have loads of things to share from the new Stampin' Up catalog. Like this sweet card that uses the "Celebrate Sunflowers" stamp set on page 13 of the annual catalog. This stamp set is part of the extended Flowers for Every Season Suite that spans pages 10 through 13.
For this card, I started with a 3-3/4" by 5" Crumb Cake Card Stock panel.  I stamped the large and small sunflower images in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. At the bottom, I adhered a 1-1/2" by 3-3/4" strip of wood grain paper from the In Good Taste Designer Series Paper pack.  I adhered this to a 4" by 5-/14" Bumblebee Card Stock mat. I wrapped a length of the sweet Bumblebee Gingham Ribbon around this and then adhered everything to a Crumb Cake Card Stock card base.

I stamped a sentiment from the "Celebrate Sunflowers" stamp set in Early Espresso Ink onto Very Vanilla Card Stock and cut it out with one of the Tasteful Labels Dies. I cut two sprigs from Just Jade Card Stock using the Sunflowers Dies and adhered these to the back of the label. I adhered the label to the card with Stampin' Dimensionals.
