Brightly Gleaming Candy Bars

#stampinup   #faithfulinkspirations   I love, love, LOVE the Brightly Gleaming Designer Series Paper on pages 30-32 in the Holiday Catalog. I used it on several cards, but I had a lot left over. I didn't want to continue to horde this gorgeous paper--it needed to come out and make someone's day. So, I used it to wrap some chocolate bars to drop in my coworkers' stockings. It was so easy. Take a look at how pretty these turned out!

I wrapped the bars with the Pretty Peacock and Copper DSP. I stamped the larger ornament from the "Christmas Gleaming" stamp set in Versamark Ink onto Pretty Peacock Card Stock. Then I sprinkled on some Copper Stampin' Emboss Powder and set the design with my heat gun. I stamped a sentiment from the same set onto Old Olive Card Stock, heat embossed the Copper Powder and made a label with the Scallop Tag Topper Punch. I tied the ornament and label onto the bars with some Copper Trim Ribbon. So pretty!

And with that, I bid you a Merry Christmas! I'm going to take a few days (weeks?) off to spend the holiday with my family. Before you know it 2020 will be here--and the new Stampin' Up Mini Catalog and Sale-a-Bration! I have oodles of things to show you and to tell you about when I return to the stampin' room and create for you.

See you soon!

Joyously Pink

#stampinup   #faithfulinkspirations   I have to say, I kinda like Christmas cards in non-traditional colors. I try to add some blues into the mix of cards I make for the season. But I never think of this color palette. We made this card at the Proverbial Stampers & Friends Christmas gathering and it's based on a design by the fabulous Mary Fish. Take a look!

We started by stamping the plaid tree from the "Perfectly Plaid" stamp set in Basic Gray Ink onto Whisper White Card Stock. We punched it out with the matching Pine Tree Punch.

Next, we embossed a 3-3/4" by 5" piece of Basic Gray Card Stock with the Subtle Embossing Folder and adhered it to a 4" by 5-1/4" Lovely Lipstick Card Stock mat. We adhered that to a Thick Whisper White Card Stock Card Base, cut lengthwise. We adhered a 2-1/2" by 3-1/2" Lovely Lipstick piece of 2018-2020 In Color 6" by 6" Designer Series Paper to the card.

We cut a Stitched Nested Label from Whisper White Card Stock and stamped the sentiment from the "Itty Bitty Christmas" set in Basic Gray Ink. We punched Vellum Card Stock leaves with the Sprig Punch and adhered them to the back of the stitched label. We adhered the label to the card with Stampin' Dimensionals.

To finish the card, we adhered the tree to the label with Stampin' Dimensionals. Then we threaded some Whisper White Baker's Twine through a 2018-2020 In Color Lovely Lipstick Button, tied it in a knot, trimmed the ends, and adhered the button to the tree with a couple of Mini Glue Dots.

I just love this color combination, don't you?!

Blue Christmas

#stampinup   #faithfulinkspirations   Sometimes clean and simple is just the ticket. Take this card, for example.  It uses plenty of white space and just one color--Blueberry Bushel. I think it's stunning. We made this card at the Christmas card sampler gathering of the Proverbial Stampers & Friends.
We started by stamping the larger ornament from the "Christmas Gleaming" stamp set in Blueberry Bushel Ink onto Whisper White Card Stock and punched it out with the matching Gleaming Ornaments Punch. We cut a Stitched Nested Label from Whisper White Card Stock and stamped the "Merry Christmas" greeting in Blueberry Bushel Ink onto the end. We adhered that to a just-larger Stitched Nested Label cut from Blueberry Bushel Card Stock.

To build the card, we started with a Thick Whisper White Card Stock card base, added a 4" by 5-1/4" Blueberry Bushel mat (PROTIP: Cut your Blueberry Bushel Stitched Nested Label from the center of this piece), and then a 3-3/4" by 4" Whisper White Card Stock Panel. We adhered a 2" by 3-3/4" strip of the ever so pretty Noble Peacock Specialty Designer Series Paper to the Whisper White Panel and then adhered the Stitched Nested Labels on top.

We adhered the ornament with Stampin' Dimensionals and a sweet Whisper White Baker's Twine Bow was added using a Mini Glue Dot. So cute!

O Christmas Tree

#stampinup   #faithfulinkspirations   Stampin' Up's Most Wonderful Time Product Medley has almost everything you need to make a stack of gorgeous Christmas cards: an
11-piece photopolymer stamp set; 48 sheets of 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper, 8 each of 6 double-sided designs; 12 gold foil card fronts, 4 each of 3 designs; 7 sticker sheets; gold/white tinsel trim; 58 adhesive-backed gold faceted stars; and a 6-piece set of Most Wonderful Time Dies. Just add some Real Red, Old Olive, and Memento Jet Black Ink and you're all set.

You can follow the examples show on page 39 of the Holiday Catalog or you can get creative--like my fellow stamper, Sondra Jumper. She added some Magnolia Lane Designer Series Paper--which she colored with a Real Red Stampin' Blend Marker--as the background for this card. She colored the tree with an Old Olive Stampin' Blend and she added some Dazzling Diamonds Stampin' Glitter to the tree. Lookie!

Sondra cut her tree with one of the included Most Wonderful Time Dies. She used Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere her tree to a Whisper White Oval that she cut with her Layering Ovals Dies (not included in the medley) and adhered that to a Gold Foil scalloped oval that she cut with another of the Layering Ovals Dies. Sondra adhered this to a 4" by 5-1/4" piece of Magnolia Lane DSP and then onto a Basic Black Card Stock card base.

To finish the card, Sondra stamped the sentiment in Real Red Ink onto Whisper White strip, snipped the ends to form a banner, and adhered this directly to the tree. She added an adhesive-backed gold faceted star to the top of the tree.

Still have cards to make? Put this product medley (item 150705) into your cart, select expedited shipping, and it will be at your door 2 days later. You can do it!
