Happy Impressions

#stampinup   #faithfulinkspirations   I hope you've enjoyed the past few days where I've been sharing different ways to use the "Abstract Impressions" stamp set. As you can see from the set of these four cards, this set is so versatile--different occasions and different styles of cards. Today's card is my favorite of the set because it's clean and simple--but with loads of texture.

We made these cards at the Proverbial Stampers & Friends new catalog gathering. I'm so glad to be part of this amazing group! We get together all the time to share stamping and business techniques AND we stamp a LOT!! For this card, we stamped the sentiment from the "Abstract Impressions" set in Lovely Lipstick Ink in the top corner of a 3" by 4" Whisper White panel. We adhered a 2-3/4" by 3" piece of Garden Impressions Designer Series Paper to the bottom of this piece and then adhered everything to a 3-1/4" by 4-1/4" Lovely Lipstick Card Stock mat.

Next, we embossed a 4" by 5-1/4" Whisper White mat with the Garden Trellis Embossing Folder and adhered it directly onto a Whisper White Card Stock card base. Then we wrapped a length of Whisper White Classic Weave Ribbon around the Lovely Lipstick assembly and adhered that to the card with Stampin' Dimensionals. 

The Lovely Lipstick against the Whisper White is so pretty. I just love this card!

Impressions of Kindness

#stampinup   #faithfulinkspirations   A little ink, a little paper, and some creativity go a long way to make a very sweet card. Stampin' Up's "Abstract Impressions" is a great set for the beginning stamper as well as for the avid, more adventurous stamper. We made today's card at the Proverbial Stampers & Friends new catalog event and it's a great, simple design!

We stamped the sentiment from "Abstract Impressions" in Blueberry Bushel Ink onto a 2-1/2" Whisper White square. We adhered this to a 2-3/4" Night of Navy square.
Next, we adhered a 4" by 5-1/4" Whisper White panel to a Blueberry Bushel Card Stock card base. We embossed a 2-7/8" by 5" Night of Navy piece with the Garden Trellis Embossing Folder and adhered this to the center of the card. We adhered a 1/2" strip of Garden Impressions Designer Series Paper on top of this piece. Then we used Stampin' Dimensionals to add the stamped sentiment piece.

For a finishing touch, we stamped one of the two-step flowers from the set in Blueberry Bushel and Night of Navy Inks onto a Whisper White scrap. We cut this out with our Paper Snips and used a Stampin' Dimensional to add it to the card front. Finally, we added a Basic Rhinestone Jewel to the center of the flower for that special touch of bling.

Floral Impressions

#stampinup   #faithfulinkspirations   The "Artistic Impressions" stamp set comes with heaps different images just waiting for you to create something fun and beautiful. Take this card, for instance. The sentiment is fun. The two-step flowers are fun. The colors are fun. And the sentiment is beautiful!

We made this card at the Proverbial Stampers & Friends new catalog gathering. We started by stamping a sentiment from the "Artistic Impressions" stamp set in Shaded Spruce Ink at the bottom of a 3-7/8" by 5-1/8" Whisper White Card Stock panel. Then we stamped a row of grass across the middle of the card--some in full strength Shaded Spruce and some in half strength. We used the two-step stamps to make the flowers in So Saffron and Mango Melody Ink.

We adhered the stamped panel to a 4" by 5-1/4" Shaded Spruce mat. We wrapped a length of Whisper White Classic Weave Ribbon around this and then adhered everything to a Mango Melody Card Stock card base. 

This card is fun and beautiful in an abstract impression kind of way!

Mango Impressions

#stampinup   #faithfulinkspirations    This week I'll be sharing a series of cards made with the "Abstract Impressions" stamp set. This stamp set is so versatile--as you'll soon see! We made these fun cards at the Proverbial Stampers & Friends new catalog gathering.

We started by embossing a 3-7/8" by 5-1/8" So Saffron Card Stock panel with the Garden Trellis Embossing Folder. We adhered this to a 4" by 5-1/4" Mango Melody Card Stock mat and then onto a So Saffron Card Stock card base.

We adhered a 1" by 3-3/4" strip of Garden Impressions 6" by 6" Designer Series Paper to a 1-1/4" by 4" strip of Mango Melody Card Stock. We adhered this to the card.

Then we stamped the sentiment from the "Abstract Impressions" stamp set in Mango Melody Ink onto Whisper White Card Stock. We punched this out wit the 2" Circle Punch. We inked up the two-step flowers with Pacific Point Ink, stamped off, and stamped them around the edge of the circle. We layered this piece on a Mango Melody Card Stock piece that we'd punched with the Starburst Punch. We added this to the card with Stampin' Dimensionals. So pretty!
