#stampinup   #faithfulinkspirations   I really love the Best Route Suite of products on pages 52 & 53 of the annual catalog. I love the stamp set, the Maps Etc. Embossing Folder, the washi tape, the Best Route Designer Series Paper, and the Memories & More Cards. I also love the Blueberry Bushel, Gray Granite, and Mango Melody color combination. 

I have a friend retiring from the Air Force and I wanted to wish him well as he steps into civilian life. I used all kinds of goodies from the Best Route Suite for this card.

I started with a 3-3/4" by 5" Whisper White Card Stock mat. I added a 2" diagonal strip of Mango Melody Card Stock. On top of that, I added 1/2" strips cut from Best Route DSP and Best Route Memories & More Cards. I stamped the sentiment from the "En Route" stamp set in Blueberry Bushel Ink. I adhered this piece to a 3-7/8" by 5-1/8" Blueberry Bushel Card Stock mat and then onto a Mango Melody Card Stock card base. The Mango Melody card front is embossed with the Maps Etc. Embossing folder. 

I punched three different pieces of Best Route DSP with the 2", 1-3/4" and 1-1/2" Circle Punches and layered them on the striped element. I cut a strip of Mango Melody Card Stock and layered on a strip of Blueberry Bushel Card Stock and used my Paper Snips to turn this into an arrow heading for the bullseye. I added the "congratulations" sticker from the Best Route Memories & More Card Pack. Finally, I added some Blueberry Bushel and Daffodil Delight En Route Enamel Shapes.

I cut down one of the Best Route Memories & More Cards for the inside of the card. I love the way Stampin' Up coordinates everything! It makes card making so easy!!

Wrapping Up a Week of Best Route Suite Projects

#stampinup   #faithfulinkspirations   I hope you've been reading my blog this week (and every week!) and I hope you've enjoyed the week of projects made with the Best Route Suite of products on pages 52 & 53 of Stampin' Up's Annual Catalog. I hope you've seen how these products can meet so many of your papercrafting needs. If you caught my hint yesterday, you know that I'm wrapping up the week today with a surprise (it's not another card) 3D project! Here it is!

I made a box for all the cards I made this week. This box will fit all five cards and envelopes. (You could use this box for a six card set, but you would have to forego some of the thicker embellishments.) This box is super easy to make with the Envelope Punch Board. Here's how.

I started with a 9" by 9" square of Best Route Designer Series Paper. (Save that 3" strip for later.) I punched and scored one side of the DSP at 3-1/2" and 4-1/2". Then, I rotated the paper 180 degrees and did the same thing.

I rotated the paper a quarter turn (90 degrees) and used the scoring guide on the Punch Board, lining up each of the scored lines. Punch and score on both scored lines. Rotate the paper 180 degrees and repeat. Then put your box together with Tear & Tape Adhesive.

For the belly band, cut 1" off your 3" DSP strip so that you have a 12" by 2" piece. Use your Simply Scored Board to score at 2-3/4", 3-5/8", 8", and 8-7/8". Wrap this around your box and adhere the ends with Tear & Tape.

I embellished my belly band with one of the Best Route Memories & More Cards. I used my Layering Ovals Framelits to cut out the "I Love This" card and adhered it to a scalloped Mango Melody Card Stock piece that I also cut with a Layering Oval Framelit. I adhered this piece to the belly band with Stampin' Dimensionals. I thought the belly band needed a little something more so I tied on a length of Gray Granite 1/2" Textured Weave Ribbon. That's the ticket, don't you think?!

Here's the box with the full set of cards. This would make a great gift set!

Twin Birthdays!

#stampinup   #faithfulinkspirations   Yesterday was my twins' 19th birthday. I can't believe it! The time really flew by. I'm amazed at the wonderful young man and young woman who my children have become. They grew up from little premie babies to lovely (almost) adults! I'm very proud of both my twins (and of their older brother, too)!

I usually make the twins coordinating birthday cards--with subtle differences on each. Can you spot the differences? Oh! That's like the game, isn't it?!

As with the other cards I've shared this week, these two are made with products from Stampin' Up's Best Route Suite of products. Both cards start with a Gray Granite Card Stock card base. I cut down one of the larger Best Route Memories & More Cards to 4" by 5-1/4" and adhered these directly to the card base. (You might remember strips of these pieces on Monday's card.)

Next, I adhered a smaller Best Route Memories & More Card to a Mango Melody Card Stock mat and then adhered this piece to the card with Stampin' Dimensionals.

I stamped the square sentiment from the "En Route" stamp set in Mango Melody Ink onto Whisper White Card Stock and cut it out with a square Stitched Shape Framelit. I adhered this to the card with a combination of Snail Adhesive and Stampin' Dimensionals, so that the pieces are all flat on the card. The sentiment says, "You never cease to amaze me." But since these cards will be coming from the whole family, I used a couple of the Best Route Enamel Shapes to cover the word "me" and turned them into an exclamation point!

The "happy birthday" piece is a sticker from the Best Route Memories & More Cards--I added a Stampin' Dimensional on the right side so that it would be even with the rest of the elements of the card.

Finally, I stamped the sign post twice (for each card) in Blueberry Bushel Ink onto Whisper White Card Stock. I stamped it again in Pineapple Punch Ink and again in Mango Melody Ink. I used my Paper Snips to fussy cut the signpost and the individual signs. I adhered each sign to the post with two Mini Stampin' Dimensionals.

#stampinup   #faithfulinkspirations   Oh my goodness! The Best Route Designer Series Paper patterns are adorable! I love this sheet with all the airplanes--so much so that I let the DSP be the star of the card.

The DSP is 3-3/4" by 5" and adhered to a 3-7/8 by 5-1/8" Mango Melody Card Stock card base. I wrapped a length of Whisper White Classic Weave Ribbon around before adhering everything to a Blueberry Bushel Card Stock card base.

Next, I stamped a sentiment from the "En Route" stamp set in Mango Melody Ink onto Whisper White Card Stock and cut it out with a Stitched Shape Framelit. I adhered this to a scalloped Mango Melody Card Stock oval that I cut with one of the Layering Ovals Framelits. I adhered this piece to the card with Stampin' Dimensionals.

See those adorable airplanes heading up, up, and away?! They're stickers from the Best Route Memories & More Card Pack! I adhered each of them to the card with a Mini Stampin' Dimensional to help them stand out from the background DSP. So awesome!
