Bright Christmas Pines

#stampinup   #faithfulinkspirations  I've got another beautiful card to share with you that uses the "Christmas Pines" stamp set and Pretty Pines Framelits bundle.  I also received this card at a swap at my upline's Holiday Catalog gathering.  It was made by Kathy Johnson.

You'll need a Thick Whisper White Card Stock card base, cut lengthwise; a 3-7/8" by 5-1/8" Real Red Card Stock mat; and a 3-3/4" by 5" Whisper White Card Stock panel.  You'll also need a bit of Real Red and Crumb Cake scraps.  I always save my scraps for these little elements.

Here's how Kathy J. put this card together.  She started by stamping the "tidings of comfort and joy" sentiment in Early Espresso Ink on the bottom corner of the Whisper White panel. Next, she added two sprigs of pine boughs at the top corner in Emerald Envy Ink.  She added some randomly placed holly berries in Real Read Ink.

Then Kathy J. stamped three pine cones in Early Espresso onto her Crumb Cake scrap and cut them out with one of the Pretty Pines Framelits.  She also cut a Real Red bow using one of the same framelits.  Kathy J. adhered two of the pine cones to the card with Stampin' Dimensionals and the other with Snail Adhesive.  She adhered the bow with a Glue Dot.

I love the clean and simple design of this card--the colors just pop!! And bonus:  You could make a stack of these in no time! Click on the link below to order your "Christmas Pines" bundle today!
