Birthday Sprinkles

#stampinup   #faithfulinkspirations   When I was chosen to be a display stamper for the fall Stampin' Up event, they sent me a box of goodies to use to create sample cards for the display boards.  One of the sets I received was the "Cool Treats" stamp set and the coordinating Frozen Treats Framelits.  This is such a fun set!  I made a bunch of samples with it and our Proverbial Stampers made a bunch more during our Occasions get-together.  Today's card is one of the cards we made there.

This card is super sweet--I love how the front of the card is shortened to reveal the surprise inside the card.  And it's super easy to make, too!
We started with the regular half sheet of Whisper White Card Stock as our card base, but cut a 1/4" strip off the front of the card.  We adhered a strip of Tasty Treats Specialty Paper along the outer edge of the inside of the card, so that you can see it when the card is closed.  We adhered another strip of DSP from the stamp pack along the outside edge of the card front.  We stamped the sprinkles stamp in Peekaboo Peach, Watermelon Wonder, and Pool Party on the card front.

We used the Banner Triple Punch to flag the end of a 1" strip of Watermelon Wonder Card Stock and stamped the sentiment in Versamark.  We added some White Stampin' Emboss Powder and set it with the Heat Tool.  We adhered this to the front of the card.

Then, we stamped the ice cream treats on Whisper White in Peekaboo Peach, Watermelon Wonder, and Pool Party--the cone and ice cream sticks are stamped in Crumb Cake.  We used the Frozen Treats Framelits to cut out these pieces and adhered them to the card front with Stampin' Dimensionals.  Super cute, right?

Remember, you can get the "Cool Treats" bundle--the stamp set and framelits--for 10% off the price of ordering them individually.  And don't forget to get some Tasty Treats DSP while you're at it!
