Botanical Special

#stampinup   #faithfulinkspirations   Today is the second of four cards I'm sharing this week made with the beautiful products from the Share What You Love Suite on pages 176-178 of the annual catalog. I received all these cards at a swap at the Proverbial Stampers & Friends annual catalog gathering. Today's card was made by Sue Yeingst.

Sue started by adhering a 3-3/4" by 5-1/2" piece of Grapefruit Grove Card Stock to a Whisper White Card Stock card base. She layered a 3-1/4" by 5-1/2" piece of Mossy Meadow Card Stock on top of that and then a 3" by 5-1/2" piece of Grapefruit Grove Share What You Love Specialty Designer Series Paper on top of that.

Next, Sue punched a Basic Black Card Stock circle with the 2-1/4" Punch and adhered this to the card. She used the Botanical Tags Thinlits to cut a flower from Grapefruit Grove Card Stock and adhered this to the card with the Fine-Tip Glue Pen. Sue also cut the leaf spray with one of the Botanical Tags Thinlits from Mossy Meadow Card Stock. PROTIP: I don't know if Sue did this, but since most of your Grapefruit Grove and Mossy Meadow Card Stock are hidden behind layers, you could certainly cut the flower and both leaf sprays from the centers of these layers.

Finally, Sue stamped the sentiment from the "Botanical Bliss" stamp set in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink onto a 7/8" strip of Whisper White Card Stock and flagged the ends with her Paper Snips. She adhered this to the card with Mini Stampin' Dimensionals. She finished the card by adhering the leaf sprays with the Fine-Tip Glue Pen and adding three Share What You Love Artisan Pearls. Perfection!
