Black and White Sympathy

#stampinup   #faithfulinkspirations   Today's card is a real stunner! I have a fondness for black and white and this card just wows it. I'm not sure if I got it from the sympathy card swap or the black and white swap that I participated in at Stampin' Up's OnStage Live in Orlando. But I do know who made the card:  Jackie Walker of Ocklawaha, Florida. This is a beautiful card, Jackie!

Jackie started with a 3-3/4" x 5" Basic Black Card Stock panel. She adhered a bit of a sheet of the beautiful Delightfully Detailed Laser-Cut Specialty Designer Series Paper to the panel. She adhered this to a 4"' by 5-1/4" Whisper White Card Stock mat and then onto a Basic Black Card Stock card base.

Next, Jackie stamped a sentiment from the "Flourishing Phrases" stamp set in Memento Tuxedo Ink onto Whisper White Card Stock and cut it out with one of the Bunch of Banners Framelits. Jackie cut a 1" by 5" Basic Black Card Stock strip and wrapped a length of 1/8" Sheer Whisper White Ribbon around it. She adhered this to the card and then adhered the sentiment tag with Stampin' Dimensionals.

To finish the card, and make it just that much more elegant, Jackie added Basic Pearl Jewels to the centers of the flowers and to the sentiment tag. Wow!
