The "Your Presents" uses the kissing technique--ink the solid stamp and then "kiss" it onto the patterned stamp and then stamp onto your card stock. It's really fun. For this card, we stamped with the diagonal stripe stamp in Watermelon Wonder going in one direction and then rotated it 90 degrees and stamped again. This makes the coolest plaid design! The Mint Macaron gift is made with the kissing technique and the Crushed Curry present is just the solid stamp.
I fussy cut all three presents with Paper Snip Scissors and adhered them to a Whisper White Thick Card Stock card base. The Watermelon Wonder gift is adhered directly to the card base; the other two are adhered with Stampin' Dimensionals.
The "happy birthday" sentiment is from the "Guy Greetings" set and is stamped with the new Basic Black Archival Stamp Pad. The bow on the Watermelon Wonder present is also stamped with the Basic Black Archival ink.
To make the Crushed Curry bow, I stamped the bow stamp in one direction and then in the other so that it makes a circular bow. I added some sequins from the Silver Sequin Trim and a bow made from the new Silver Cording Trim. I added a thin strip of Watermelon Wonder card stock to the bottom of the card using the Fine-Tip Glue Pen.
We also made the envelope using the Envelope Punch Board and Watermelon Wonder Envelope Paper.
Stay tuned for another sneak peek tomorrow, where I'll be showing the Christmas card we made with this same set!
