Birthday Wishes

#stampinup   #faithfulinkspirations   Today's card is the final card made with the "Big Wishes" stamp set at the Proverbial Stampers & Friends new catalog gathering. I mentioned earlier that this was a set I just passed by in the catalog. I honestly didn't even notice it. But it's one of those hidden gems, that once you discover it, you'll fall in love with it. I know I did!

This card, like the others, is super simple to make--perfect for a beginning stamper, but also interesting enough for a more advanced stamper. We started by stamping the happy birthday sentiment from the "Big Wishes" set in Tranquil Tide Ink onto a 2" by 3" Whisper White Card Stock piece. We adhered this to a 2-1/8"  by 3-1/8" Mint Macaron Card Stock mat.

Next, we adhered a 3" by 3-1/2" piece of Tranquil Tide Designer Series Paper to a 3-3/4" by 5" Whisper White Card Stock panel. We adhered that to a 3-7/8" by 5-1/8" Tranquil Tide Card Stock mat. We wrapped a length of Whisper White Classic Weave Ribbon around this before adhering it to a Mint Macaron Card Stock card base, cut lengthwise, and turned sideways.

To finish the card, we added the stamped piece with Stampin' Dimensionals. I love the clean and simple design of this card and I love the Tranquil Tide-Mint Macaron color combination!
