Balloon Birthday

This quick and easy birthday card features three awesome projects from the Occasions mini catalog. (Click on the link to the left to flip through the pages--this catty is awesomesauce!!) I figured this would be a good card for this week's Seize the Birthday challenge--which is always: make a birthday card!

I needed to make a quick card for the blog tonight because I've been busy at work and have been getting home late. Once I take care of the family business, then it's time for me to play a little in the stamping room. I used the coolio Balloon Framelit Dies on another project (stay tuned--you'll see it on tomorrow's post) and thought they'd be great with some bits of designer series paper. They're much larger than I thought--but I like that!

I embossed the Blackberry Bliss panel with the Lucky Stars embossing folder and stamped a quick sentiment from the "Celebrate Today" stamp set and punched it out with the large oval punch. I mounted all the elements with dimensionals and added some Whisper White Bakers Twine and it's just that simple!

You can find the "Celebrate Today" stamp set and matching Balloon Framelit Dies bundle, along with the Lucky Stars embossing folder in the new Occasions catalog! If you bought these items and threw in a package of dimensionals and an ink pad--you'd have a $50 order and you could get one FREE Sale-A-Bration item! Whoo-hoo!

Contact me today to place an order (or order on line) or to host a workshop during Sale-A-Bration!

(Stamp Set: Celebrate Today; Ink: Lost Lagoon; Card Stock: Lost Lagoon, Blackberry Bliss, Whisper White; DSP: Moonlight DSP Pack; Accessories: Balloon Framelits Dies, Lucky Stars Embossing Folder, Large Oval Punch, Whisper White Bakers Twine, Stampin' Dimensionals)
