Today's card was designed by Kristie Woodworth and it was one of the shoebox swaps we made at Lydia Fiedler's retreat in May. Kristie did a lot of the legwork for us--she stamped the octopus in Night of Navy onto Very Vanilla Card Stock and cut it out with the matching Under the Sea Framelit. She also cut out two of the sea grass shapes from DSP.
We stamped the sea grass images--and I added a sentiment--in Night of Navy onto a 4" by 5-1/4" piece of Tranquil Textures DSP and then adhered it to a Crumb Cake Card Stock card base. We adhered the sea grass cut-outs directly to the card (I used Snail Adhesive) and adhered the octopus to the card with Stampin' Dimensionals. We added a few Metallic Sequins using the Fine-Tip Glue Pen.
This was a really fun card to make and I love Kristie's design, don't you?!
