Blissful Butterflies

#stampinup   #OnStage2019   #OnStageTelford2019   #faithfulinkspirations   When I attended the Stampin' Up OnStage gathering in Telford, UK, last month I participated in a fancy card swap. Boy, oh boy! That swap did not disappoint and it certainly lived up to its name! I got so many amazing cards that I couldn't resist sharing some of them with you.

Today's card was made by Carla Low from Mildenhall, UK, and it's a beauty! Take a look!

Carla started with a 3-3/4" by 5" Whisper White Card Stock panel. She stamped a sentiment from the "Colorful Seasons" stamp set in Blackberry Bliss Ink. She masked this with a circle post-it and then sponged on some more Blackberry Bliss Ink.  She made the spatters with ink and a toothbrush! She stamped some branches and flowers from the "Colorful Seasons" set in Blackberry Bliss, too.

Carla stamped some butterflies from the "Butterfly Gala" stamp set in Blackberry Bliss Ink and punched them out with the Butterfly Duet Punch. (PROTIP: You can get these two items in a bundle and save 10% off purchasing them separately--but only until June 3rd. They'll be in the new 2019-2020 Annual Catalog, but not as a bundle--so get 'em now!) Carla added Clear Wink of Stella and Dazzling Diamond Glitter to their wings. She also added some of the pretty Rose Metallic Thread and Basic Pearl Jewels to the card.

Carla backed the stamped panel with a 3-7/8" by 5-1/8" Blackberry Bliss Card Stock mat and then adhered everything to a Thick Whisper White Card Stock card base.

I love the way Carla made the butterflies three-dimenional. She carried that through to the inside, too.
